Rates, Insurance, and other FAQs
What are your rates?
I do have a sliding scale. If these fees are too great a financial burden, please let me know what you can afford on your contact form and I will consider reducing my fee significantly.
Are you an in-network provider for my insurance?
However, starting November 1, 2025, I plan to cease being an in-network provider for either of those networks.
At that point, I will be able to continue seeing existing clients at the in-network rate for 30-90 more days. After that, I will no longer be considered an in-network provider for them.
Do you take out-of-network insurance?
If you’re enrolled in a PPO, you may have good out-of-network coverage. Many government employees, unionized employees, and employees of large corporations have them. Look into your plan to see what your out-of-network deductibles and coverages are. If you’re well-covered, I’ll be happy to accept your co-insurance and wait for the insurance company to reimburse me for the rest.
If you’re enrolled in an HMO or in a plan with a very high deductible, unfortunately you won’t be covered at all for my services.
How often are sessions?
How long will therapy last? How many sessions?
At this stage of my life, I’m aware that I have a finite number of years to help people, and I want to help as many as I can. But as long as therapy is valuable to you, and needed, and really helps you grow, I will be there for you.
I don't live in your area. Can I still see you?
Current state licensing regulations do not permit me to offer psychotherapy outside of my geographic area. However, I offer consultation and coaching, which can be equally as effective. Unfortunately, these cannot be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement.
